How is this list made?
Every week we collect well-rated games from the US App Store (at least 1,000 reviews), then read each official page: the price, the “In-App Purchases” notice, and the privacy label the developer declares to Apple. Only paid games with no in-app purchases, whose label declares no tracking and no advertising data, are kept. Games rated below 4/5 are left out. The ranking uses a Bayesian rating: the average rating weighted by the number of reviews, so a 4.9 from 40 reviews does not beat a 4.8 from 20,000. Last check: October 25, 2026.
The privacy label is declared by the developer; a game with no declared ad data could, in theory, still promote its own games. Spotted a mistake? Write to [email protected].
